Job summary

Integral seeks an Integration Developer to build, test, and document API and data integrations for VA programs across EISS, BOSS‑E, MBMS, and external systems. You will support ETL/ELT processes, data migrations, and cross‑system exchanges within VA security and architecture standards.

You will document configurations, environment setups, and validation procedures, and participate in Agile/Scrum sprint activities to deliver reliable integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or an IT-related degree with 7-10 years' experience.
• Experience supporting ETL/ELT, legacy‑to‑cloud migrations, and cross‑system data exchange.
• Experience documenting integration configurations, environment setups, and validation procedures.
• Experience supporting integration testing across unit, functional, system, and performance test cycles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing to Sprint deliverables
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SOAP (if applicable), message queues, and microservice integration patterns.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, database scripting (DDL/DML), and data transformation techniques.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Integration Developer builds, tests, and documents API, data, and service integrations for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission.

Responsibilities
