Quantinuum in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Integration AMO Physicist to advance the integration and validation of our trapped ion quantum computer systems. You will work with cross-functional engineers and serve as the SME on device and qubit physics, leading small projects and contributing to design requirements.

Requirements include a minimum bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in physics or related hardware integration, and U.S. person status.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years of Physics experience in R&D or hardware integration
• U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident or green card) for contract
• U.S. Government national security considerations apply to candidates

Responsabilités

• Integrate and validate Quantinuum’s trapped ion quantum computer hardware assemblies
• Design and execute validation test plans as SME on ion-trap qubit system
• Contribute to future quantum computer integration design and requirements
