Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a highly capable Multi-Disciplined Engineer II to support development, integration, sustainment, and modernization of complex military training systems.

The role spans hardware, software, RF, cybersecurity, and lifecycle engineering, requiring hands-on problem solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience across hardware, software, and IT, plus DoD RMF familiarity and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering across multiple disciplines and successful problem solving.
• Broad technical knowledge spanning hardware, software, computer systems, networking, RF technologies.
• Experience with Windows/Linux OS and networked environments.
• Experience with scripting/automation: Python, Java, C/C++, PowerShell, Bash.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and DoD RMF requirements.
• Familiarity with RF communications systems and antennas.
• Ability to analyze data to support engineering decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on engineering, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment of complex systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, RF, and IT domains.
• Design, modify, and integrate hardware and software to meet requirements.
• Support system/network administration in Windows and Linux environments.
• Support IA and cybersecurity activities including RMF compliance and remediation.
• Conduct RF system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for coverage and interference.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate processes and analyze data.
• Develop 3D models and prototype components using additive manufacturing.
• Maintain technical documentation and test plans.
