Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health Division in Shrewsbury, MA. As a clinician-led group within Optum, you'll provide medication-assisted treatment and collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams.

This hybrid role leverages telemedicine and on-site care, with opportunities to lead, supervise Substance Use team staff, and participate in program development.

Qualifications

• Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts APRN license and Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of postgraduate experience treating patients with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments and treatment for patients with substance use disorders.
• Orders labs and develops evidence-based plans of care including medication management.
• Collaborates with BH and primary care teams and documents accurately.
• Provides supervision and support to Substance Use team staff as appropriate.
• Participates in on-call coverage and after-hours care as needed.
