Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team as an Integrated Adult Psychiatry Provider. The role is hybrid, combining telemedicine and on-site care.

You will collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams to support recovery using evidence-based medication-assisted treatment and digital therapeutics. A Massachusetts APRN license and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts APRN license and board certification.
• Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR required or in process.
• 1–3 years postgraduate experience treating substance use disorders and dual diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments and treatments for SUD patients.
• Take comprehensive SUD histories and conduct focused exams.
• Order labs and assess SUD severity to guide care.
• Develop evidence-based plans including medication management and referrals.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and primary care teams.
• Provide supervision and support to Substance Use team staff.
• Participate in on-call coverage and after-hours care.
