Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management or related field.
• Two years of professional experience in planning and protection of natural resources, including environmental research.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to meet county certification requirements.
• First Aid and CPR certification; Wildfire Red Card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements natural resource management policies, procedures, plans, and activities.
• Develops and coordinates joint natural resource management projects with partners and agencies.
• Coordinates programs that conserve and enhance wildlife, vegetation, geology and aquatic ecosystems.
• Recommends grant funding projects; assists with grant proposals and tracks grants.
• Monitors and inventories natural resources and conducts surveys; reports results.
• Trains and leads staff; manages workload and project status.
