Job summary

Eaton’s Mission Systems Division in Orchard Park, NY seeks an Integrated Product Team Director to lead the Life Support product group within MSD. This senior role collaborates with BD, Sales, Engineering and customers to drive portfolio strategy and execution.

You will steer program performance, manage budgets and KPI metrics, align CAPEX with product needs, and lead a cross-functional team to deliver value and growth across current and next-generation offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, engineering, sales or program management.
• Must reside within 70 miles of Orchard Park, NY.
• This position requires export-controlled information and the candidate must be a U.S. person.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the IPT’s performance and execution against budgeted positions including safety, quality, delivery, sales, profit, inventory, CAPEX.
• Indirectly manage Cabinet of functional representatives within the IPT to achieve KPIs and goals.
• Alignment of technology investments and CAPEX with product needs through close coordination with BD & Sales, key customers, and Engineering.
• Driving all aspects of program and proposal performance through indirect management of the Program Management team and Operations.
• Coordination with functional organizations to support resource requirements throughout the IPT.
• Respond to key customers including escalations and priority requirements.
• Maximizing profit and cash conversion by achieving budgeted gross margin, inventory turns, and program execution measures.
• Contributing to product portfolio lifecycle and new product introduction business cases.
• Developing market analyses, product and technology roadmaps, and other market assessment tasks.

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Integrated Program Team (IPT) Lead to lead our Life Support product group. This role is based at our Orchard Park, NY facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Job Summary

Eaton’s Mission Systems Division is currently seeking an Integrated Program Team (IPT) Director. This position is based at our Orchard Park, NY location. Within the MSD Business structure there are 8+ Value Streams or Integrated Product Teams. Internally, we refer to this position as an Integrated Product Team Director. However, this position better aligns with what the marketplace calls a Value Stream Manager.

What you’ll do

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the IPT’s performance and execution against budgeted positions including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, sales, profit, inventory, CAPEX, etc.
• Indirectly manage Cabinet of functional representatives within the IPT to achieve KPIs and associated goals.
• Alignment of technology investments & CAPEX with product needs for current and future product developments through close coordination with: BD & Sales; key customers; and Engineering.
• Driving all aspects of program and proposal performance through indirect management of the Program Management team and or the Operations function for the assigned product lines.
• Coordination with functional organizations to support resource requirements throughout the IPT.
• Responsiveness to key customers including escalations and priority requirements.
• Maximizing profit and cash conversion by achieving or exceeding key business measures, including budgeted gross margin for the assigned product lines, inventory turns, program execution measures.
• Strategic support of New Product Introduction (NPI) business cases.
• Contributing to each element of the product portfolio lifecycle including identifying new opportunities in line with market needs; developing the business case for new products/opportunities; phase appropriate pricing; program execution; product field support; next generation technology offerings.
• Contributing to the product line’s internal business strategy, including market analysis, product and technology roadmaps, and other market assessment tasks.
• Responsible for creation of and execution against Business Plans in monthly, yearly, and long term planning cycles.
• Championing change and thought leadership.
• Works with Functional Leaders, Business Development, Operations, etc. to develop shared goals that support this role’s accountabilities.
• Serve as a member of the site’s extended leadership team.

• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience, within a manufacturing, operations, supply chain, engineering, sales or program management environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience encompassing in-depth knowledge of the product set and industry
• Experience operating within and achieved business targets in an environment aligned to relevant products and markets
• Establish and work within a cross-functional organizational design
• Experience in the proactive development, and successful execution, of relevant strategies addressing evolving customer needs and market dynamics
