Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) supporting a Department of Defense Program to join the team in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Supports in studies/analysis and planning efforts within and/or across programs/projects, organizations, or business units to determine impacts, constraints, and plans involving product development, process improvement, or program initiatives.
  • Provides analysis and product development initiatives for manufacturing, program, and support organizations.
  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements and identifies production constraints.
  • Supports program planning requests for the development of new and derivative products.
  • Facilitates, and ensures integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers, and partners.
  • Develops project plans for realigning work statement to support production requirements and meet company strategy for work placement.
  • Develops and supports program Integrated Master Schedules and related Earned Value Management plans
  • Ensures that all formal business systems are aligned and being maintained according to documented processed and procedures.
  • Experience developing proposal plans and schedules.
  • Experience with DFARS and EVM contracts


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • 1+ year of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines
  • Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Experience in Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or Microsoft Project (MS-Project) schedule applications
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and generating metrics reports
  • Experience with EVM and CAM supporting DoD contracts
  • Experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Preferred


Shift: 1st Shift

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required.

Summary pay range:

Level 3 $93,500 - $126,500

Level 4 $115,600 - $156,400
