The role is based at the UCF main campus with an anticipated start in late Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, contributing to CREOL, FPCE, and related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 2 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in integrated photonic systems for free-space and optical fiber communication.
• Collaborate with CREOL and related research groups on experimental and theoretical work.
• Supervise graduate students and contribute to training and dissemination of results.
