DCM Inc. is seeking an Integrated Pest Management Associate to support daily cultivation operations in Maryland. You will follow MCP policies and state medical marijuana regulations while maintaining plant health and sanitation.

The role requires physical tasks, PPE use, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Join a growing team focused on quality cannabis production.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old for legal reasons.
• Background check (federal and state) required.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Able to step over high rails while handling heavy equipment.
• Able to wear a 40 lb backpack during tasks.
• Able to work in limited lighting with a headlamp.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Must wear full PPE including full-face masks/shields.
• Able to step over 28-inch rails.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and operate Boom Sprayers.
• Mix and apply biological agents with cart sprayer.
• Prepare and apply nematodes with backpack sprayers to root zone.
• Apply Beneficial Insect to plants.
• Post-harvest bay cleaning and sanitation of surfaces and equipment.
• Clean growing areas and equipment.
• Remove green waste from gutters, containers, floors.
• Sanitize with peroxide-based products.
• Take plant measurements and scout for pests/diseases.
• Repair dripper irrigation assembly.
• All other duties as assigned

This shift will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9AM - 7:30PM.

Integrated Pest Management Associate

Our Integrated Pest Management Associate will mainly be responsible for following MCP's policies and procedures for our daily cultivation operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.

Your role in caring for our plants:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Calibration and Operation of Boom Sprayers
• Mixing and application of biological agents by cart sprayer
• Preparation and application of nematodes with backpack sprayers into the root zone
• Application of Beneficial Insect to the plants
• Post-harvest bay cleaning
• Cleaning of all surfaces and equipment in growing areas.
• Green Waste Removal - gutters, containers, trash cans, floors
• Sanitation using peroxide-based products
• Plant Measurements
• Scouting - Identify and report pest and disease
• Dripper assembly Irrigation Repair

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications we ask you to have:

• For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
• You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
• We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
• We ask that you are comfortable and able to step over high rails while holding heavy equipment.
• We ask that you are comfortable and able to wear a 40lb backpack while performing certain tasks.
• We ask that you are comfortable and able to work in limited lighting areas with only a headlamp.
• We ask that you are comfortable with heights.
• We ask that you are comfortable and able to wear full PPE (to include full face masks/shields)
• You are willing and able to step over 28-inch-tall rails.

• We ask that you do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; job requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.
• Ability to follow specific protocols and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

• As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
• Employees are asked to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
