ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Paramus, NJ to lead submittals, shop drawings, and schedule management for integrated openings solutions. You will coordinate between customers, internal teams, and field staff to ensure accurate, timely installation with minimal friction.

You will apply deep technical knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware, review drawings, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track and within

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial construction, pre-fabricated construction building materials, doors, frames, hardware, demountable walls, project management, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and execution of submittal packages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specs
• Coordinate and support shop drawing development, ensuring constructability and alignment with field conditions
• Manage and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying risks and driving on‑time delivery
• Oversee order coordination from approved submittals through production readiness
• Serve as a technical resource answering questions about doors, frames, and hardware
• Review architectural drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Interface with distributors, contractors, and architects to ensure alignment and clear communication
• Drive process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and improve project delivery
