Social Worker II
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Integrated Mental Health Services, the Mental Health Provider will provide Behavioral Health and Counseling services in an integrated health care agency serving UW-Madison students. This position will have primary clinical responsibilities split between two main areas of Integrated Health. One aspect of the position will be serving as a member of our Behavioral Health Provider team. The other will be in providing Eating Disorder Services within the Mental Health Service department. Provision of Eating Disorder services will include a combination of brief counseling, group therapy, Eating Disorder assessments, and possibly care management services.
This vacancy is being announced simultaneously with Social Worker, Counselor and Psychologist; you must apply under the appropriate credential for consideration. Only one vacancy exists; having three job postings allows the University Health Services to consider candidates with all three credentials for this position.
There are licensure requirements for this role. Licensure, independent or in-training, will be confirmed to advance to the interview stage. The Wisconsin Board recognizes reciprocity for providers licensed or credentialed in another state. Each applicant is reviewed on an individual basis and generally accept candidates from states with substantially equivalent licensing standards. States with licensures not reciprocal can be found at https://dsps.wi.gov/Credentialing/General/NotReciprocal.pdf. A license/state not being listed does not equate to an application for reciprocity or endorsement being granted. Other state/territory licenses must remain active until the Wisconsin credentialing process is complete.
