Leidos Defense is seeking an experienced Integrated Master Schedule Coordinator to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) program. ILS2 provides integrated logistics, facilities, mission-enabling, training, and emergent operations support across the geographically dispersed Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility (AOR).

What’s in it for you?

The Integrated Master Schedule Coordinator will support the ILS2 Program Management Office (PMO) by developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting integrated project schedules that enable disciplined execution across multiple concurrent projects, locations, mission partners, and task areas. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Project Plan Managers, Resource Managers, Task Leads, Mission Partner Liaisons, and technical and operational teams, the IMS Coordinator will provide the schedule visibility and analysis needed to identify dependencies, assess schedule risk, coordinate resources, and maintain alignment with Government priorities.

The successful candidate will support project planning and execution across logistics operations, facilities planning and implementation, mission-enabling services, and emergent operations. The position requires the ability to operate in a dynamic environment where mission priorities, geographic constraints, resource availability, deployment requirements, and contingency operations can affect project schedules and execution.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze the ILS2 Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting project schedules across multiple concurrent projects and task areas.
  • Work with Operations Manager, Project Plan Managers, Task Leads, Resource Managers, and technical personnel to develop project schedules containing activities, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, resource requirements, and Government decision points.
  • Integrate individual project schedules into the program-level IMS to provide leadership and the Government with visibility into execution across the ILS2 enterprise.
  • Analyze schedule performance, critical paths, dependencies, constraints, and emerging risks that could affect cost, schedule, performance, or mission readiness.
  • Conduct schedule health assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate schedule delays and execution risk.
  • Track project progress against approved baselines and provide recurring schedule status, variance analysis, forecasts, and trend information to program leadership.
  • Coordinate with Resource Managers to identify resource requirements, staffing dependencies, workforce availability, and potential resource constraints affecting scheduled activities.
  • Support development and maintenance of project plans, work breakdown structures (WBSs), milestones, deliverables, and other program and project management artifacts.
  • Support integration of logistics, facilities, deployment, training, mission-support, and other cross-functional activities into executable project schedules.
  • Identify and track dependencies among ILS2 task areas, Mission Partners, Government organizations, teammates, vendors, and other supporting organizations.
  • Support schedule planning for transition, deployment, contingency, surge, and emergent operational requirements.
  • Develop schedule-related metrics, reports, dashboards, charts, and briefings that provide leadership with actionable insight into project and program performance.
  • Participate in project reviews, status meetings, planning sessions, risk reviews, and other program management business rhythms.
  • Support what-if and scenario analyses to evaluate the schedule effects of changing priorities, resource constraints, emerging requirements, and contingency operations.
  • Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, baseline changes, and supporting project records in Government- and program-approved systems.
  • Capture schedule lessons learned and recommend process improvements that strengthen planning, forecasting, and execution across the ILS2 enterprise.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
  • High School diploma with 3-5 years’ experience of relevant project planning, scheduling, program management, or project controls experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules for complex programs or projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or comparable project scheduling tools.
  • Experience performing schedule analysis, critical-path analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, and project status reporting.
  • Experience integrating schedules across multiple projects, functional organizations, or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify schedule dependencies, constraints, and execution risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to prepare and present schedule information, analyses, recommendations, and briefings to program leadership and Government stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and other access requirements applicable to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, SOCPAC, INDOPACOM, or other Federal Government programs.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed or OCONUS operations.
  • Experience scheduling logistics, facilities, deployment, sustainment, or contingency-response activities.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Project Plans, WBS development, resource-loaded schedules, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Experience coordinating project schedules with workforce/resource planning activities.
  • Experience supporting Agile, hybrid, or PMBOK-aligned program and project management environments.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent project management/scheduling certification.
  • Experience supporting contingency, surge, or rapidly changing operational requirements.
