What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex Medicaid eligibility issues within the Integrated Eligibility System (IES)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for IES enhancements
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions using various techniques to validate stakeholder needs
- Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Participate in system testing and validation to ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- At least three (3) years of experience supporting a State Integrated Eligibility System (IES)
- Demonstrated expertise in Medicaid eligibility rules and regulations
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex system issues
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading requirements-gathering sessions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is strongly preferred
- Experience in business analysis techniques such as documentation and process modeling
- Familiarity with IES functionality and enhancements
