Job summary

St. John’s Community Health in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a licensed Psychiatrist to provide diagnostic clarity and medication management for psychiatric and addiction patients across two South Los Angeles clinics.

The physician will perform 5150 assessments, formulate integrated treatment plans, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Evening or weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO Psychiatry required.
• CA Medical License and DEA Certificate required.
• Board certification or eligibility within 3 years of residency.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage psychiatric and/addiction medications.
• Perform 5150 assessments and triage.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and Behavioral Health staff.
• Maintain accurate patient charting and documentation.
