Job Description

Outpatient Psychiatrist needed to work in culturally diverse expanding community health center providing psycho-pharmacology services to individuals who struggle with addictions. Addiction psychiatrist will be involved in direct patient care including psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and treatment planning through integrated team approach. Psychiatrist will also participate in collaboration and consultation with primary care providers and other behavioral health clinicians outside of the complex addictionteam.

Experienced with out-patient and after-care of mental health patients; specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects alone, and with other medications; knowledge of varied mental disorders and dual diagnosis experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced multidisciplinary practice and demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with under-served multicultural populations in a communitysetting.
