This role learns about establishing a carrier base and attaining optimal margins while delivering best-in-class service execution.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:• Gain exposure and understanding of the transportation industry• Become involved and participate in daily transportation brokerage activities; verify carrier authenticity, maintain accurate shipment records, and monitor freight movement to uphold service expectations• Build an understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges that support carrier negotiations and contribute to revenue and margin goals• Observe and practice serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers: gain competence in how service failures are proactively communicated to minimize cost and operational inefficiencies while providing best-in-class service• Learn about the technology and tools J.B.
