Description
Under the direction of the front desk lead, the Behavioral Health Program Coordinator will assist with the integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder program at all United Community Health Center clinical locations. Within this role, the qualified candidate acts as a liaison for patients and UCHC providers to assist in navigating behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment options and service availability within the UCHC communities. The goal of this position is to coordinate with clinic managers, providers and front/back-office services to increase access to care and pursue more timely receipt of services. The coordinator will also help facilitate timely payment for services rendered by UCHC providers and gain a deep understanding of individual payer plans and coverage to better facilitate access to services. The coordinator will work closely with all UCHC departments to ensure the success of the program.
