Stanford University School of Medicine's Division of Medical Psychiatry seeks a psychiatrist with interest in primary care mental health integration to join the Integrated Behavioral Health program as a psychiatric consultant. You will collaborate with LCSWs, PCPs, and other clinicians to deliver mental health care in primary care settings.

This Clinician Educator role emphasizes clinical care, teaching, and potential scholarly activity, funded by Stanford Health Care and not RVU-dependent.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree, ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Preferred training in integrated behavioral health or primary care psychiatry.

Aufgaben

• Provide weekly caseload consultation to IBH LCSWs.
• Oversee status and population health of the assigned caseload with the registry.
• Guide PCP champions and IBH providers on treatment and monitoring.
• Communicate treatment adjustments within 24 hours.
• Deliver in‑service training on recognizing and treating behavioral health in primary care.
• Participate in direct patient evaluation via co-visits or one-time evaluations.
• Respond to urgent calls within one hour when available.
• Support education, scholarly activity, and administrative roles.
