Job summary

AppHealthCare in North Carolina seeks a licensed or eligible behavioral health professional to provide rapid access to evidence-based interventions within an integrated primary care team. The role delivers brief to longer-term assessments and interventions for a range of mental health and substance use concerns.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program; or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Psychologist with HSP designation (preferred) in North Carolina; or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychological Associate with HSP designation, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
• Bilingual candidates able to communicate fluently in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with ethics codes as set forth by licensing boards.
• Actively support integrated behavioral health care model for comprehensive care.
• Perform initial intake evaluations and review relevant screeners.
• Provide evidence-based interventions for physical and behavioral health concerns.
• Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health team to develop treatment plans.
• Document all client visits in the agency medical record system.
