Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital seeks a compassionate Pediatric Psychologist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team within Dayton Children's Pediatrics, delivering family-centered behavioral health services in a fully integrated primary care setting.

You will provide same-day consultation, brief assessment, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and parenting concerns, partnering with pediatricians and multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in Ohio.
• Experience in pediatric psychology, primary care, and/or integrated behavioral health is preferred.

Job description

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Pediatric Psychologist to join our expanding Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team within Dayton Children's Pediatrics. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a fully integrated primary care setting, partnering with pediatricians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver timely, accessible, and family-centered behavioral health services.

As a key member of the care team, the psychologist will provide same-day consultation, brief assessment, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents experiencing developmental, behavioral, emotional, and parenting concerns. The role also includes participation in integrated well-child visits, helping identify behavioral health needs early, promote prevention, and connect families with appropriate resources.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care while also contributing to the continued growth of integrated behavioral health services. Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program

• Experience in pediatric psychology, primary care, and/or integrated behavioral health is preferred
• Strong commitment to collaborative, team-based care and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
