Job summary

Total Recovery Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking an Acupuncturist to join a therapist‑owned, high‑performance team. You’ll deliver integrated acupuncture care, combining traditional techniques with dry needling within an interdisciplinary setting.

You will treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, collaborate with PTs, OTs, and other providers, and focus on long‑term patient outcomes. NJ license preferred, 1 year of experience encouraged and supported by mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Acupuncture License
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong foundation in treating orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pain-related conditions
• Experience with or willingness to learn trigger point dry needling
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
• Commitment to patient outcomes and high-quality care
• Team-first mentality within an integrated care model
• Growth-oriented, coachable, and committed to continuous professional development

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered acupuncture care with a focus on measurable outcomes
• Work within an integrated care model alongside PTs and OTs to drive optimal patient results
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and pain-related conditions
• Apply acupuncture and trigger point dry needling based on patient needs
• Collaborate with providers to develop and execute comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients on condition, treatment strategy, and long-term goals
• Track patient progress to ensure clinical effectiveness
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to a high-performance, team-first environment
• Build strong patient relationships leading to retention and referrals
