What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Accurately enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards
- Communicate with referral sources and patients to ensure proper documentation and financial responsibilities are addressed
- Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance in daily operations and complex case resolutions
- Review medical records for compliance standards before services are rendered
- Prepare reports on team performance and operational metrics for management review
What is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative roles or customer service
- Experience in healthcare organizations, including pharmacy or medical supply services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Additional experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and regulatory compliance
