Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Intake Specialist to join our team in Racine, United States. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the initial contact and information gathering process for our clients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from the start. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conduct initial interviews with clients to gather essential information, assess their needs, and perform eligibility screenings for various programs or services
  2. Accurately enter and maintain client data in our database systems, ensuring all required forms and documentation are completed and organized
  3. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly, and assist in scheduling appointments and follow-up communications
  4. Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to facilitate smooth client onboarding and obtain additional information when necessary
  5. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
  6. Generate reports and statistics related to intake activities as needed
  7. Collaborate with team members to improve intake processes and efficiency
  8. Manage and prioritize a high volume of intake cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  9. Other duties as assigned
  10. Travel as required

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with 1-3 years of experience in intake, customer service, or related field
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation and professional demeanor
  3. Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
  4. Strong time management and organizational abilities
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  6. Knowledge of intake procedures and documentation
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
