Addison Group is partnering with a growing legal services firm in Chicago that specializes in complex litigation. This firm is nationally recognized for its mission-driven work and highly collaborative team. They offer a close-knit, casual office environment and are looking for a proactive, entry-level professional to support their legal intake process.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a highly organized and personable Intake Specialist to manage the first interaction with potential clients. This is a critical role in the firm’s workflow, requiring sharp communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership. The position is based 100% on-site and offers long-term training and career development in the legal field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming potential clients, gathering detailed case information via phone and email
  • Manage and track incoming leads from various sources (website, referrals, campaigns) using firm intake processes
  • Coordinate the intake pipeline by sending documentation, following up, and ensuring completion of all new client paperwork
  • Organize and process medical records for internal review
  • Send out case decline letters and route potential cases to legal experts for next steps
  • Support the marketing team in reviewing digital content, approving blog drafts, and ensuring the firm’s online presence is current

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Must type at least 65+ WPM (typing test required during the interview process)
  • Exceptional reading and writing ability with strong attention to grammar and structure
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple cases and deadlines
  • Strong time management and independent work ethic—must be comfortable managing workload with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with occasional travel and flexible hours (some evening/weekend availability by phone)
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm; Friday 8am–4pm
  • 100% On-site (Chicago West Loop area)
  • Office is casual and team-oriented
