Role Overview

As an Admissions (A&R) Shift Supervisor at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington, you'll lead our evening intake team in connecting patients with vital mental health services. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to ensure smooth admission processes and excellent customer service during critical evening hours.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Intake

• Manage referral and admission processes
• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses
• Coordinate with treatment teams
• Process insurance pre-certifications
• Obtain and review necessary medical records

Team Leadership

• Supervise evening intake staff
• Ensure quality customer service
• Maintain efficient workflow processes
• Coach and develop team members
• Monitor department performance

Care Coordination

• Facilitate communication between departments
• Process insurance verifications
• Coordinate with physicians and referral sources
• Arrange community resources
• Manage documentation compliance

Administrative Oversight

• Maintain detailed call logs and reports
• Monitor intake metrics
• Ensure proper completion of forms
• Track referral outcomes
• Manage departmental resources

Required Qualifications

Licensure (One of the following)

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with active supervision
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• LPC-Associate with active supervision
• Registered Nurse (RN)

Experience

• Background in behavioral health assessment
• Understanding of inpatient treatment protocols
• Experience with insurance processes
• Clinical documentation expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• One year acute behavioral health experience
• Supervisory experience
• Crisis intervention training
• Utilization review experience

• 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
