JOB TITLE: Intake Operator
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $22.75 per hour
Increases at: 2 months to $23.25, and 6 months to $23.75
Shift Premium: $0.75 per hour for hours worked between 5:00pm - 5:00am
PM shift available, 5:00PM - 5:00AM, on a 2-2-3 schedule
Weekends and holidays are scheduled on a rotating basis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, or use foot/feet for the duration of their shift. Employee is frequently walking to different areas of the intake.
Work Environment – Employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particulates. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Employee is frequently working at heights with proper fall protection, including on top of dairy tankers, platforms, and in a scissor lift.
Physical Demands – The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lb. to their waist height and occasionally lift and/or move 50 lb. to shoulder height. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Protective Equipment – Employee is required to wear personal protective equipment that is appropriate for the job being performed, including safety shoes/rubber boots, bump cap and other related personal gear related to food safety, including hair net/guard and rubber gloves.
