Overview

NPH is expanding its Clinical Intake team to serve patients across all markets, supporting both day and night shifts. We are seeking someone to work on Mountain Time to support our Arizona facility. The Intake Coordinator will be part of a remote team that significantly impacts patient outcomes and success.

Available Shifts and Hours

We offer both day and night shifts with flexible scheduling through 12-hour shifts in a remote setting. The Intake Coordinator will work 3-4 days per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate potential patients through referral systems
• Coordinate with hospitals to ensure smooth admission processes
• Assess patient needs with Outreach Managers and initiate appropriate actions
• Build relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and referral sources to promote our services
• Educate discharge planners, physicians, and referral sources about admissions

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, nursing, or public health required; Bachelor's preferred
• Current LPN or RN license preferred; social work licensure preferred
• CPR and CPI certifications required, obtained during orientation if applicable
• Minimum 1 year experience in psychiatric admissions preferred
• Experience in marketing, community relations, or discharge planning preferred
• Familiarity with NaviHealth and Transferral referral systems a plus
• Strong multitasking and technology skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
