Job summary

Responsibilities include initiating intake, verifying insurance, handling authorizations, and communicating with patients about financial obligations. This role requires at least a high school diploma and prior intake experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• 2+ years intake experience including eligibility and authorization.
• Ability to verify insurance and obtain authorizations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Initiates intake process by gathering data from referral sources and completing intake paperwork.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains required authorizations.
• Completes start of care paperwork and notifies patients of financial obligations.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
