Job summary

Alabama Clinical Schools is seeking an Intake Coordinator / Marketing to manage the patient intake workflow and serve as the information point for individuals, agencies, and professional staff about potential admissions.

You will also build and maintain referral relationships and ensure accurate data reporting to the QMC committee, contributing to an organized admission process and program growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical area such as counseling or social work with at least five years' experience in mental health.
• Three years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting; situational evaluation and crisis intervention experience required.
• Licensing in field (e.g., LCSW, LPC) preferable but not required.
• Knowledge of emotional disturbances, DSM‑V‑R diagnosis, and ability to quickly assess residents for risk to themselves and others.
• Successful background screen and drug testing.

Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama. • Developing and/or maintaining relationships with ongoing sources of referral to alternate treatment sources when appropriate.
• Maintains data to report accurately to the QMC committee.

Qualifications
