Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks an Intake Assessment Coordinator IPF PRN with Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas to help coordinate pre-admission assessments and provide clinical assessments for potential patients.

You will support community education and participate in health fairs, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while delivering timely assessments for the program.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma or related degree required.
• Active professional licenses in Nevada or related mental health fields.
• BCLS certification required; CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-admission assessment process with Program Director.
• Provide clinical assessments for potential patients.
• Assist with community education and health fairs.

Education

Job Summary and Qualifications

• As an Intake Assessment Coordinator, you will, in conjunction with the Program Director, coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and provides clinical assessments for potential patients.
• You will also assist with community education with clinical issues and participates with community events such as health fairs
• You will complete assessments in a timely manner, demonstrate a thorough knowledge of work practices, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and provide on and off site clinical assessments for potential patients to the program

What qualifications you will need:

• RN Diploma, or Associates degree in nursing or in a related mental health field
• 1-3 years' experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting preferred
• Active License as a Registered Nurse in Nevada or as an LCSW or a LFT or a LPC or a Mental Health Counselor Intern or a LMSW or a Clinical Social Worker
• BCLS certification required
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire
