Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Medicare/insurance reimbursement issues and regulations to include coverage criteria.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills within a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Completes work with accuracy and within assigned time frames.
  • Requires minimal supervision and is self-directed.
  • Adheres to company infection control and safety policies, including education, reporting and practice implementation specific to job position.
  • Develops cooperation and collaborative work efforts that generally benefit all involved parties.
  • Demonstrates the initiative to meet the needs of the organization by assisting co-workers when workload permits.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures and is flexible to changes in duties and responsibilities.
  • Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Multistate License or licensure in multiple states to practice as a RN or LPN specific to the state the employee is assigned to work.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Reliable internet service and ability to work from home with minimal disruption to the workday.
Preferred
  • Home health or hospice intake experience.
  • Homecare home base experience.
