• Review incoming Medical Service Authorizations and paperwork to create and update client accounts.
• Coordinate with internal business partners, including Logistics, Customer Care, Billing, and Compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve account issues as required.

• Correspond and follow up with Agency Case Managers for action items and needed information
• Access clinical documentation to obtain authorization for services
• Troubleshoot and resolve account issues as required
• Coordinate with internal business partners, including Logistics, Customer Care, Billing, and Compliance

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 1 year of data processing experience or 2 years of data processing experience in a fast-paced medical or insurance environment
• 2 years of medical background and 1 year of data processing experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable managing multiple screens and computer equipment
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and navigate multiple computer systems and applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Familiarity with medical billing terminology
• Experience in medical data processing, coding, or clinical/health information settings
