Metropolitan Behavioral Health is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

The Intake Clinician obtains initial clinical phone information which is communicated to the physician on call to make a final decision regarding admission. The Clinician may also schedule a clinical evaluation if appropriate for the client and contacts the physician who will make decision for the appropriate level of care: inpatient, day treatment or outpatient care. He/she will facilitate this process by assisting the client, family and referral sources. Clinician also provides information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures.
