• At least 6 months experience in inpatient psychiatric treatment or related clinical assessment and risk formulation.
• Clinical licensure preferred, not required.
• Associate level accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Admissions in staff supervision, clinical case consultation, coordination and organization of day-to-day activities, and administrative duties that enhance Admissions Department and Security performance.
• Administrator on call duties on a rotational schedule.
• Interview incoming patients to complete intake assessment and initial risk formulation.
• Use verbal de-escalation skills to manage patients experiencing psychiatric crisis.
• Perform patient observation to ensure safety while in the admissions department.
