Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an Intake Attorney for our Longwood, FL call center. This non-litigation role focuses on evaluating potential cases, advising callers, and guiding them through a trusted retention process before any filing.

You will work with experienced attorneys nationwide, applying your legal training to determine merits, document conversations, and onboard new clients efficiently. JD and active state Bar status are required; Spanish is a plus, and you must be able to work

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of a state Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years experience managing a high-volume caseload or intake pipeline (typically 50+ active matters at a time).
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Litify, or comparable client intake and case management platforms preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Speak directly with prospective clients, explaining the legal process and helping them decide to retain the firm.
• Establish credibility quickly; your legal knowledge and professionalism influence client decisions.
• Follow up on pending calls and unsigned retainers in your queue with timely communication.
• Coordinate with Contact Center leadership, managing partners, and attorneys nationwide for smooth onboarding.
• Document conversations and case assessments accurately in the intake system.
• Partner with the Under Review team to evaluate initial merits and advise on next steps.
• Review police reports, photos, and other early materials to inform your assessment.
• Exercise independent legal judgment to make real-time case acceptance decisions.

We are seeking an Intake Attorney who excels at building rapport under pressure - someone who can turn an anxious caller into a confident client through clear guidance, sound legal judgment, and genuine reassurance. You will join our industry-leading Case Control Center, a department at the center of our nationwide growth, working alongside experienced attorneys and firm leadership to shape how new clients experience Morgan & Morgan from their very first conversation.

This is not a traditional litigation role. You will not manage a caseload or appear in court. Instead, you will apply your legal training and judgment where it matters most in the earliest, most critical moments of a client relationship: evaluating potential cases, advising callers with clarity and authority, and demonstrating why a firm that is truly For The People is the right choice for them.

What You'll Do

• Speak directly with prospective clients who want attorney-level reassurance before signing, explaining the legal process clearly and helping them make an informed, confident decision to retain our firm.
• Establish credibility and trust quickly; your legal knowledge, communication skills, and professionalism often determine whether a caller becomes a client.
• Follow up on pending calls and unsigned retainers within your queue, maintaining timely, consistent, and professional communication.
• Coordinate closely with Contact Center leadership, managing partners, and attorneys across the country to ensure smooth and efficient case onboarding.
• Document all conversations and case assessments in the intake system accurately and thoroughly.
• Partner with our Under Review team to evaluate the initial merits of potential personal injury cases and advise on next steps, including:
  • Reviewing police reports, photographs, and other early case materials as needed to inform your assessment.
  • Exercising independent legal judgment to make real-time case acceptance decisions consistent with firm strategy and criteria.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member ofa state Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years experience managing a high-volume caseload or intake pipeline (typically 50+ active matters at a time), gained within a firm structure that included dedicated intake specialists, case managers, and/or a marketing or lead-generation team supporting client acquisition.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Litify, or comparable client intake and case management platforms preferred.
• Strong alignment with the firm's mission of being For The People, and confidence in representing the strength, resources, and results of the largest personal injury law firm in America.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment where each conversation carries real significance for the caller.
• A proactive, engaged approach to the work and a genuine interest in helping build and scale a rapidly growing department within an expanding national firm.
• Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.

This role requires full-time, in-office presence at our Longwood, FL call center. Applicants must reside within commutable distance.
