Job summary

Southeastern Directions for Life is hiring an Intake Assistant at our Cliff location, part of Community Support Services (CSS). The role supports screening, scheduling, and intake processes, communicating with referral sources, and ensuring intake information is accurately entered into the Electronic Health Record.

This position collaborates with Supervisors, Therapists, and Case Managers to facilitate timely access to services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a helping profession; ability to work with mental health staff and clients in both individual and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new client screening and intake processes.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals with sources.
• Gather information from individuals and families seeking services and document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Provide supervisors, therapists and case managers with necessary information on new clients.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Intake Assistant position provides new client screening, scheduling, and intake process. This position is responsible for communicating with referral sources, gathering information from individuals/families seeking services through S… Additional duties would be to ensure all intake information is completed in our Electronic Health Record, and providing Supervisors, Therapists and Case Managers with necessary information on new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of Associate’s Degree in one of the helping professions with demonstrated skill and competence in mental health practice and ability to work with other mental health staff and consumers in both individual and group settings. Must be able to provide services in a manner and environment that enhances personal dignity.

Must have a current drivers license, car insurance and a driving record acceptable to Southeast’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting, drug screening.
