Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate competency in the criteria listed below. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill in the provision of services to a varied population of patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.

Education / Licensure: Licensed Physicians, APRN’s, Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Registered Nurses, Masters in Social Work, Masters in Counseling, Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, or Masters of Psychology required.

Experience: Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.

Licensure / Certification: N/A

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnostic symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age‑specific growth and development, and crisis and behavior management.

Supervision Received: NARC Director, Assistant NARC Director, NARC Shift Coordinator
