Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a detail‑oriented Intake Coordinator to review, research, and enter grievance and appeal cases within one business day of receipt. You will monitor multiple intake sources—call tracking, fax, email, and mail—and prioritise requests to match state, plan, and case type.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, strong data entry, problem solving and critical thinking. A high school diploma is welcomed; full‑time, 40 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and pay

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in grievances and appeals.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze information and make decisions.
• Experience with intake processes and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Review, research, and enter grievance and appeal cases within one business day of receipt.
• Monitor intake sources (call tracking, fax, email, mail) and prioritize requests.
• Intake various case types: member/provider grievances, pre/post-service appeals.
• Assess information to determine appropriate case type and processing requirements.
• Manage cases with varying turnaround times per state, plan, and type.
• Maintain organization to handle urgent/expedited requests timely.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to QA questions and seek clarification as needed.
• Participate in weekly team meetings with intake coordinators and managers.
• Adapt to changing procedures while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
