Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college/university in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Counseling, or related field with a minimum three-year prior experience
  • Knowledge of case management practices and excellent counseling and crisis management skills
  • Minimum experience using personal computers and basic office equipment

Responsibilities

  • Serves as first contact to families and girls considering the Pace program
  • Conducts preliminary needs assessment and works with intake team on placement suitability
  • Compiles documentation for intake per policy
  • Participates in intake interview to assess needs and coordinates with the team
  • Maintains center census and represents Pace to referral sources
  • Facilitates orientation for new girls entering the Pace program
  • Coordinates aftercare services and monitors progress during transition
  • Provides aftercare information to girls and caregivers at discharge planning
  • Educates on goals of individual and community responsibility and supports job search efforts
