Job summary

KW is seeking a reliable door assembly worker in Indianapolis, IN to read instructions, measure components, and assemble residential doors. You'll use power tools, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment while keeping production records.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, with opportunities for overtime and benefits. Ideal candidates will have good hand-eye coordination, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reliable transportation.

Salary Range: Undisclosed, KW.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow procedures.
• Take measurements to ensure fit of components
• Align material and put together parts to build residential door units
• Check doors to ensure highest quality
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts

Hours are M-F 7am-4pm.

Qualifications

• Ability in using power tools, hand tools and saws
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation
