Job summary

Guidewire is seeking an Implementation Consultant to configure InsuranceNow, develop integrations, and deliver custom components for client implementations. You will work cross-functionally with analysts, project managers, and leadership to ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have several years in technical implementations, strong Java/Javascript skills, and experience with AWS, logs, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of directly related technical experience in a professional services role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to solve real-world business problems.
• Experience in Java/Javascript/web technology development and debugging.
• Knowledge of AWS, Tomcat, and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with XML, HTML, and JavaScript web tech.
• Experience with API integrations and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Configure Guidewire InsuranceNow, including system configuration and integration development.
• Lead or participate in development of custom components and services as part of implementations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and clients for success.
• Demonstrate the packaged system functionality to stakeholders as user stories.
