• Performing insurance verification online and by phone
• Documenting patient financial responsibility
• Referring patients to financial counselors for assistance
• Supporting Oncology Services with various insurance-related functions

Qualifications:

• 2 years of formal education or equivalent experience; Associate's degree preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare, or business, plus 1.5 years in healthcare or insurance industry (total 2.5 years)
• Medical Terminology knowledge or successful completion of a course within 90 days of hire
