Nemadji, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Specialist to remotely navigate hospital systems, verify patient coverage, and update account status in line with internal protocols.

The role requires a High School Diploma, familiarity with medical billing basics, and the ability to obtain CRCS-I or CPAR within the first year. Excellent organization and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Preferred: medical office registration/patient accounts experience.
• Ability to obtain CRCS-I or CPAR within first year.

Responsibilities

• Navigate hospital systems remotely to investigate account status.
• Request and obtain eligibility documentation of patient coverage via web, phone, or written requests.
• Update accounts to appropriate status per hospital protocols and information found.

Requirements

Required Education: High School Diploma

Preferred Experience: Medical office experience in registration and/or patient account systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of medical insurance payers
• Understanding of medical billing rules and practices
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment balancing speed and accuracy

Required Qualification

Ability to obtain a professional certification, such as CRCS-I or CPAR during first year of employment (study materials and test provided)
