AMSURG is seeking a full-time Verification Specialist to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, collaborating with staff and physicians to support the insurance verification process. The position is responsible for verifying benefits, checking patient eligibility to determine coverage, and notifying patients of their financial obligations as part of daily operations.

A high school diploma or GED is required, MS Word/Excel skills are expected, and health insurance verification experience

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in health insurance verification/billing preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.
