ARSA - Advanced Reconstructive Surgery Alliance and its IFAR institute are seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to support patient access and scheduling. You will verify coverage, enter payers in EMR, and work with clinics and patients to resolve insurance issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work performance of Insurance Verification vendors.
• Add / edit payers into EMR system per defined guidelines.
• Obtain and/or verify patient insurance benefit coverage by use of insurance websites, such as NaviNet, or by contacting the insurance carriers prior to patient appointment.
• Clearly document details of the verification for service reference.
• Communicate with clinics and patients regarding any insurance related issues, including notifying both when a policy is inactive or a referral is needed.
