The insurance verification and prior authorization specialist is a vital member of the Retina Consultants team and works in conjunction with the clinical, billing, and front desk team to verify insurances and obtain authorizations for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance verification to confirm active eligibility and benefits
• Initiate pre-authorizations for procedures and request office visit referrals
