Women’s Care PC is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to handle third-party payer pre-certification for services. You will verify eligibility, benefits, and dates prior to procedures, and document all details in our systems.

The role requires strong communication with payers and internal staff, ensuring accurate coverage information. We value HIPAA compliance, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ medical billing/insurance verification experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to interact with patients, staff, and payers.

Responsibilities

• Perform third party payer pre-certification functions for services.
• Verify eligibility and benefits prior to scheduled appointments or procedures.
• Contact insurance companies for eligibility dates, deductible, co-payments, and coinsurance.
• Document information in appropriate systems and determine payer participation.
• Answer billing customer service calls and emails.
