Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience including insurance follow-up with Medicare/Medicaid.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Familiar with Athena or similar EHR/Billing systems.
• Strong communication with leadership and payers.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and PCP assignments prior to appointments.
• Obtain and manage prior authorizations as needed.
• Navigate AthenaNet to troubleshoot revenue cycle issues.
• Support CFO and Revenue Cycle leadership on data reporting and HRSA UDS.
