Job summary

Information Providers, Inc. in Urbandale, IA seeks an Insurance Telephone Auditor to join our growing team. The role includes a three-month training path with the potential to transition to production-based pay and annual income opportunities from $35,000 to $75,000+ based on experience.

Daily tasks involve auditing, verifying classifications, analyzing documentation, and producing Premium Audit reports that affect commercial policies. Office-based, with potential future WFH options.

Qualifications

• Premium audit experience required or strongly preferred.
• Finance, accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in financial analysis or loan services is a plus.
• Administrative and office-management abilities are important.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Dig into business details, verify classifications, and analyze documents.
• Prepare detailed Premium Audit reports impacting commercial policies.
• Communicate clearly with carriers and internal teams to improve accuracy.
• Support auditors and contribute to process improvements.

WHAT WILL YOU DO EVERY DAY AS AN INSURANCE TELEPHONE AUDITOR?

Each day, you'll dig into business details, verify classifications, analyze documentation, and prepare detailed Premium Audit reports that directly impact commercial insurance policies. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE OUR INSURANCE TELEPHONE AUDITOR?

• Premium audit experience
• Some finance, accounting, payroll, and/or bookkeeping experience
• Experience related to financial analysis and/or loan services
• Administrative skills and office management abilities
• A higher degree in a field such as accounting, business, mathematics, education, marketing, or business management is highly desired and may be accepted in lieu of experience!
• Comfort with using computers, technology, and Microsoft programs
• Effective communication skills (verbal & written) with collaborative interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized, manage your time effectively, and work independently to meet goals
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and efficient multitasking skills
